I am an upbeat coach who leverages creativity and versatility to meet the needs and style of my clients. Excitement, joy, and an engaged, curious presence to every session are what I bring to every session. I partner with my clients to so they can recognize the potential they have inside of themselves and answer questions that can have a significant impact on any part of their life.
In sessions with me, you can expect a lot variety. Depending on your needs and where we are on our journey together, I could suggest an assessment, goal-setting, different in-session exercises or resources (check out some of my favorites here), or even “homework”! However, you can be sure that I will always be focused on being an active listener who asks questions to help you figure out the answers that are inside yourself or see a new perspective. And with the “homework”…don’t worry, you’re the one who comes up with what you’ll be doing, because I believe in action you take has to be a decision made by you.

My coaching philosophy is that everyone has potential within themselves that with the right questions, reframing, or awareness can be unlocked. This is not limited to certain parts of one’s life – coaching is about seeing the “whole self” and realizing how all parts of our lives are intertwined. The purpose of coaching, in my opinion, goes alongside my philosophy: enable a person or group to recognize what is holding them back or where they can reach by discovering deeper truths within themselves. This requires work from both sides and the coaching space should be a place where both coach and client can open up without worrying about judgment.
Coaching can increase self-awareness, lead to better understanding of how certain perspectives or situations are the cause of thoughts or behaviors, reframe detrimental thinking patterns, and foster a stronger sense of one’s capabilities, desires, and areas of growth. Coaching is NOT meant to be therapy, a place where a coach outright gives a client answers or judges the merits of someone’s abilities or past actions.
Besides receiving an Organizational Leadership Coaching Certificate from Northwestern after a year-long, intensive Masters-level program, my coaching experience comes from the tennis court and years working at the French Resort company, Club Med. After finishing my Division 1 collegiate tennis career, I was an assistant coach for my university’s team. I worked in individual and team settings with players on developing a wide range of skills – both physical and mental. At Club Med, I coached team members in a variety of ways, and in three languages, particularly on improving job specific skills and interpersonal communication skills with clients and other team members.
Every coach has things that make them unique. My tennis coaching helped me develop a strong sense of how to effectively use an external perspective to recognize all types of performance issues. When it comes to communication, I speak English, French and Spanish and have managed individuals from over 30 nationalities while working in four countries, providing me a well-developed understanding of different cultural nuances and communication styles. I’ve also held a variety of roles and have made two major career shifts in the last three years. Last but definitely not least, it’s hard to wipe the smile off my face or for me to not find growth opportunities in a situation, which I use to spread positive energy and create actionable development plans.
What makes me unique parlays into a couple of my specialty areas. I am very good at working with individuals on communication. This includes improving general skills and preparing communication for a variety of situations. Given my experience managing teams, I can help leaders with effective communication when providing feedback. I also am well equipped to use positive psychology coaching concepts to aid clients in recognizing their strengths or positively reframe their thinking.
Whether it is for a few sessions or an extended period of time, I am excited and ready to partner with you and see what amazing growth we can unleash!
